Welcome to our new website.
Die FFSG hat es sich zum Ziel gesetzt, diejenigen Aktivitäten der „Philosophisch-Politischen Akademie e.V.“ (PPA) und der „Gesellschaft für Sokratisches Philosophieren“ (GSP), die sich auf das Sokratische Gespräch beziehen, ideell und materiell zu fördern und zu unterstützen.
The actvites to be fostered are:
The performing of Socratic Dialogues in the Nelson/Heckmann tradition.
The practical and theoretical advancement of the Socratic method.
The training of Socratic Dialogue facilitators.
This is to be realized in particular through the following concrete measures and guidelines adopted by the General Assembly:
1. Promotion of participation in Socratic Dialogues
Partial payment of the participation fee for Socratic Dialogue events on application.
2. Ausbildungsförderung von Kandidat*innen
Support for candidates who are being trained as Socratic facilitators and who will be available to the GSP in this capacity in the future. This is aimed specifically at candidates with limited financial means who are unable to bear the costs of their training on their own. The selection of the candidates to be supported is done in close consultation with the GSP.
3. Reimbursement of travel expenses
Proportionate reimbursement of travel expenses for Socratic facilitators and participants (pupils, students and unemployed) on application.
4. Contributions to conferences, workshops ..
Funding of conference contributions that serve the dissemination of the Socratic method.
5. Promotion of publications
Adoption of the costs for the copies of the publication series "Sokratisches Philosophieren" distributed free of charge by the Philosophisch-Politischen Akademie to university libraries, whereby the FFSG is named as sponsor.
